Peggy (Hattaway) Braun

Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Peggy Ann Hattaway Braun, age 79 of Cedar Creek Court, Fayetteville, Ga. who died Monday morning, December 18, 2017.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday December 23, 2017 in Taylor Funeral Home, Gibson with Rev. Tommy Pulliam and Rev. Mary Griswell officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell City Cemetery. 

A native of Mitchell, Peggy was a daughter of the late Clifford E. Hattaway and Sallie Hilson Hattaway.  She was a Glascock County High School graduate and a homemaker.  Peggy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Billy Hattaway and Hensley Hattaway and sisters, Helen Wente and Zuline Pulliam and is survived by her loving husband Richard O. Braun of Fayetteville; sons, Alan H. Braun of Fayetteville and Phillip A. Braun of McDonough; grandsons, Richard C. Braun of Fayetteville, Connor A. Braun of McDonough and Kyle A. Braun of Fayetteville; brother George & Amy Hattaway of Lilburn; sisters, Maria & B.G. Gregg of Anniston, AL, Sara & Skip Joyce of San Antonio, TX, and Jeanne & Lynn Seymour of Ozark, AL; several nieces and nephews.

The Braun family will receive friends 12:00 to 2:00 PM before the services Saturday at the Funeral Home.

Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Care of Gibson is in charge of arrangements.
