Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death of Mrs. Addie Charlene Pharr Cook Lightsey, age 81 of Louisville, who was called home by the Lord on Friday morning, May 11, 2018 in the Jefferson Hospital. After over 15 years on dialysis, she traded her earthly body for her heavenly one.
A memorial service honoring the life of Addie Lightsey will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday May 27, 2018 in the dining area of Pruitthealth Old Capital, Louisville, GA with Rev. Clarence Thomas officiating. A memorial service will be held in the Atlanta area and will be announced at a later date.
Mrs. Lightsey is survived by daughter Sherry Cook of McDonough, GA., son Chris Cook of Stockbridge, GA., son Gerald (Carissa) Lightsey of Hopwood, PA; 3 grandchildren Rosie Brown, Whitnie Lightsey, Jonathan Lightsey, and great granddaughter Kennedy Lightsey also of Hopwood, PA.
Special long-time friends include Larry and Mary Rhodes of Louisville, and Sandra and Roy Reagin of Conyers, and Elizabeth Hemby of Louisville.
Mrs. Lightsey was preceded in death by her son Randy Cook, parents John Byron and Inez Hendrix Pharr, and brothers John Pharr and Jerry Pharr.
