Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Dorothy Price Dollar, age 97 of Highway 24 East Louisville, who died Sunday morning June 10, 2018 in Lake Crossing Health Care.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 13, in the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Boggs, officiating. Burial will follow in the Louisville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Bobby Dollar Jr., Michael Dollar, Rufus Dollar, John Price Jr., Rick Price and Hank Dollar.
Mrs. Dollar was a native of Johnson County, Georgia and was a daughter of the late Wade Price and Arleana Fountain Price. She was a member of the Women’s Mission Circle, B&PW, Business and Professional Women, and a member of Louisville United Methodist Church. She was also a homemaker.
Mrs. Dollar was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Darrell Emerson Dollar, a son, Butch Dollar; brothers, Ralph Price, Earl Price, John Price and is survived by son and daughter in law Bobby Dollar Sr. and Donna, of Wadley; daughter and son in law Betty Gilmore and Harry, of Lincolnton; daughter in law Julie Dollar, of Louisville; 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The Dollar family will receive friends 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the Funeral Home.
