Mr. Franklin “Frankie” Lamb, Jr., of Gray, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 in the Jefferson Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at 11:00 AM, in the First Baptist Church of Gray with Reverend Randy Darnell officiating. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends at the church following the service.

Mr. Lamb was born October 20, 1956, to the late Franklin and Betty Lou Lamb. He was born in Louisville, GA and graduated from Bartow Academy. Mr. Lamb worked for Woodman of the World Life Insurance Company for 28 years and was a member and Deacon at First Baptist Church in Gray, where he was also a member of the choir. He was a member of the Lions Club and was Past President of the Jones County Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Lamb enjoyed hunting, fishing, driving his tractor and working on the farm. He loved traveling with his beloved wife, spending time with his family and was known for helping others. Mr. Lamb dedicated a great deal of his time helping others doing disaster relief. He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Lamb.

Frankie is survived by his wife, Frances “Cissy” Lamb of Gray; Son, Duke Miller of Atlanta; Daughter, Nicole Miller (Leon) Pellicer of Seattle, WA; Grandchildren, Kai, Mila, Aribella and Georgia Pellicer; Sister, Louanne Jackson of Gray.
