Taylor funeral home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Leanna “Ann” May, age 99, of Gibson who died Saturday December 7, 2019 in the University Hospital McDuffie in Thomson.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday December 11, in the Sheppard Memorial Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home Gibson with Rev. Clarence Thompson, Rev. Mark Stewart, & Rev. Brian Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Park in Augusta.

A native of Clara, MS., Ann was the daughter of the late Levi Hollingworth & Zylphia Murcer Hollinsworth. She retired after many years of service as a Nurse from Gibson Health & Rehabilitation and was a member of Griffin Chapel Baptist Church in Mitchell.

Mrs. May was preceded in death by her parents, husband Billy May and is survived by one son, Bobby Joe & JoAnn Stevenson of Hallam, NE.

The family will receive friends 11:00 to 1:00 PM Wednesday prior to the funeral services at the funeral home.
