Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death of Mr. Robert Brock (Bob) Jersey, age 86 of Swainsboro who died Sunday January 5, 2020 in the Pruitt Health Care of Old Capitol.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM, Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home Louisville with Mr. Jerry Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville.

Mr. Jersey was a native of Stevens Point, Wisconsin and a son of the late Howard & Blanche Brock Jersey. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, Air Operations Specialist, Mr. Jersey owned and operated Pixie Land Playground Equipment Company. For several years he owned and operated Grove and Garden Produce stand and the Jersey flea market in Swainsboro. He attended Calvary Methodist Church and Hillcrest Baptist Church in Swainsboro and was a member of the VFW in Swainsboro.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings, Ruth Jersey, Charlette Manhart, Sally Jersey, Richard Jersey, Donald Jersey, and David Jersey, and is survived by wife of 65 years, Wynette M. Jersey, sons & daughters in-laws, Brock & Debbie Jersey of Newnan, Scott & Andrea Jersey of Louisville, daughter & son in-law, Kathy & Billy Hackle, of Swainsboro, 5 grandchildren, Morgan Jersey, Deanna Higbe, Chris Taylor, Craig Jersey, Cindy Jersey, 6 great grandchildren, sister-in-laws, Claudia Jersey, Bobbie Jersey, several nieces & nephews.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
