Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Bonnie W. Davis, age 85 of Louisville who died Sunday, January 31, 2021.
Private Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday February 3, 2021 in the Louisville City Cemetery with Mr. Joe Cheeks and Mr. Tommy New officiating. Because of the family’s concern for public health and safety during this pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. A native of Wrens, Bonnie was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Wren and Nona Ennis Wren Harrod. Bonnie was a faithful member of Louisville United Methodist Church. She served as treasurer of United Methodist Women for many years, and was a teacher of the Joe Gay Sunday School Class. She worked for many years for Jefferson County Finance Company and Davis Furniture Company.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lynwood Eugene Davis, and survived by, daughter, Angela Jones (Gary) of Athens, son, Andy McNeely (Penny) of Louisville, grandchildren, Samuel McNeely (Mary Ann), Anna Bailey (Larry), Brian Jones, Kevin Jones, Stephen Jones, great-grandchildren, Drew and Caroline McNeely, Ben and Brody Bailey, brother, Frank Wren of Deland, Fl., stepchildren, Karol Davis (Steve), Darryl Davis, Angie Houston (Ray), Chris Bishop (Nancy), Kim Stepp (Tony), several nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would like to give thanks to Mae Kelly, Jeanette Thompson, Ciara Mack, & Ellen Hawthorne for their love and care shown to Bonnie.

There will be an open visitation 12:00 PM till 5:00 PM Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the funeral home.
