Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and services of Mrs. Dana Dixon, age 50 of Girard, who died Saturday evening October 10, 2020 in her residence.
Service to celebrate her life will be held for family only Saturday, October 17, 2020 in the Chapel at Taylor Funeral Home Louisville with Dr. Timothy M. DeTroye officiating.
A native of Girard, Dana was the daughter of the late Willie Clyde Dixon and Jackie Dixon. She graduated from Chamberlain University with honors with a Master’s Degree in Nursing as Nurse Practitioner. Dana was a member of Sardis Baptist Church and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She was an accomplished award-winning pianist, music worship minister, and toured with The Revelations in the greater Southeast GA area.
Dana was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Timothy Kevin Wall, a niece, Alauna Roberts, and is survived by her wife, Tonia Dixon, daughter, Shannon Williams of Conway, S.C, sisters, Candy (Kat Thames) Weeks of Waynesboro, Melanie (Danny) Godbee of Girard, Shannon (Dr. Tim) De Troye of Aiken, S.C., brothers, Randy (Sharon) Wall of Laramie, W.Y., Jimmy (Eddie Jean) Roberts of Gulf Port, F.L., nieces, Jolene (Manuel) Rivera of Millington, T.N., Sunshine (Derek) Ward of Waynesboro, Kayla (Evan) Tannenbaum of Graniteville, S.C., Savannah Campbell of Girard, nephews, Shane (Lori) Godbee of Girard, Freeman Wall of Melbourne, Australia, Avery Ferron of Aiken, S.C., grandchild Langston Williams of Conway, S.C.
