Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and services of Mrs. Polly Lamb Williford, 84, of Williford Road in Louisville, who died, Tuesday morning, January 5, 2021 in the Jefferson Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday January 9, 2021 in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home Louisville with Mr. Joe Cheeks and Rev. Peter Vermeulen officiating. Burial will follow at Louisville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh Otis, Matt Otis, Larry Lamb, Todd Story, Ray Miller, and Tracy Walden. Because of the family’s concern for public health and safety during this pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. A native of Louisville Polly was a daughter of the late Eli Lamb and Estelle Moats Lamb. She retired from Thermo King as an Assembly Line worker and was a member of Louisville United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Williford was preceded in death by her parents, sister Ruth Godbee, brother, Allen Lamb and survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Frank Williford, daughter, Gwen Price (David) of Waynesboro, son, Tony Otis (Lisa) of Louisville, brother, William L (Buddy) Lamb of Winter Park FL grandchildren, Jill Smith (Jay) of Louisville, Josh Otis (Christy) of Bartow, Matt Otis (Amber) of Louisville, Whitney Tidwell (Mike) of Augusta, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, several nieces, nephews and many friends.
