Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death of Mr. Theodore “Ted” Cole, age 83, of Vineland Road Louisville who died, Tuesday morning, December 29, 2020 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Mr. Bill Smith officiating. Because of the family’s concern for public health and safety during this pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. Ted was born on December 24, 1937 in Wallington, VT., to the late Howard Cole and the late Beatrice Brown Cole. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He retired as a manager after 35 years with Thermo King Corp. He was a member of Louisville Lions Club, and JJG Hunting Club.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jim Cole, grandson, Cole Van Epps, and survived by his wife, Charla Cole, daughters, Kym Van Epps of Stillmore, Kelly Butler of Stillmore, Christy Douglas (Brain) of Louisville, brothers, Jerry Cole (Gloria) of Westminster, VT., Gale Cole of Stillmore, Lynn Cloe (Sharon) of Rutland, VT., sisters, Connie Fullam (Mert) of Springfield, VT., Linda Tarbell (Raymond) of Mt Holly, VT., Lynnette Devereux (Doug) of East Wallingford, VT., grandchildren, Brandy Lamb (Matt) of Stillmore, Brittany Dawkins (Mark) of Swainsboro, Rachael Appleby (Zach) of Swainsboro, Zack Douglas of Louisville, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
